IFACH 2011: First discovery in Western Wall Area

Although the early days of any campaign are more focused on the excavation of surface layers and tend to spend more time until they begin to appear archaeological strata, we have the first structures located on the West Wall - Gate.

The structure has appeared in cleaning the area outside, next to the guard tower or tower 3 has appeared a wall that appears to be the continuation of the outer wall of the corridor that allows access into the population. At the moment it is early to make judgments and have to wait a while to clean the area and know which correspond exactly.

Anyway, a good start to the season in a sector that is obliged to give us many surprises this year.
